Spotty Dog Boarding Kennels is owned and run by Kevin Morris and Sue Manning.

Kevin has been working for Mountgarrett Estates, on whose land the kennels is sited, as Head Forester and Head Foreman for over 26 years.  He picks up for the Mountgarrett shoot with his 3 home-trained gun dogs and is also the proud owner of 2 cheeky terriers!  Kevin has personally carried out much of the building and refurbishment works on the kennels building himself and has drawn widely on previous experience of setting up and running boarding kennels to ensure that the planning and implementation of the project ran smoothly and efficiently.

After moving to North Yorkshire from London, Sue worked for many years in a local equestrian outlet and, more recently, a rural country store.  She has a well established background in customer services, sales and marketing.  Sue has been the proud and doting owner of more than a few rescue dogs over the years – her loyal rescue whippet, Lily, is never far from her side!  Sue is currently studying for a Diploma in Kennel & Cattery Management and a Certificate in Canine First Aid through the Animal Care College.
